Making uni movie - please help!

Hey all, making a novice uni movie (seriously, the only thing we have is determination) and I’ve got all the camera angles, editing and everything, but I have one problem:

It seems that the sound/backing music is frequently deleted of youtube videos - it happened to my friend and other people I know.

Anyone know how to avoid this from happening?
I’m thinking acknowledge the song at the start?

Things like youtube videos are supposed to be protected fair use in the us.

However, you may want to look at http://creativecommons.org/legalmusicforvideos/

Post it on Vimeo. It has a much more professional atmosphere than Youtube, and they won’t delete your music (yet).
