Making A New Video

Hey, my mate Tom and I are going to be making a shortish video tommorow, what do you reccomend we do for best entertainment value. I have been riding for one month so i can pretty much hop about and do up to about a 2 and a half foot drop. Tom’s been riding for 6 months and can do one foot riding, really dodgey wheel walking, backwards riding and hops… What do you guys think??

i can wheelwalk pretty good now actually. i can also do 4ft drops and ride along logs and rails if im up to it, also im getting pretty good with the seat out in front trick. i rekon we jsut go out there and film heaps of crap then just chuck all the good parts in then have all the good stacks at the end, needs a good sound track to.

You should fall down alot. Thats entertaining, and I find the best riders do it the most. Think Jackie Chan bloopers
But more seriously, watch Xavier’s videos. He’s not a very good rider :slight_smile: But his videos are interesting because

  1. videography - move the camera around and close to and follow the subjects wheel.
  2. cool music - find something with the right mood/tempo and edit the video to it.
  3. cinametography - pick interesting backdrops. Even a simple unicycle trick is interesting with the right backdrop.
  4. unique - show something we havent seen… some style/culture from your town/yourself.
    Everyone here rides a unicycle; Try to show some other things, that make you and your town unique

yea i rekon we can do that, dont know where we can find a good backdrop to do tricks, but thanks that really helps. we’ve already selected 2 songs that are really good.

me and my mate think xavier collos is awesome, i rekon its cause of his awesome videos, ive just finished watching all the ones on his site and they are mad.
