how would one go about making a good sturdy patch out of a rad drawing. I got my friend to draw the coolest thing ever and I wanna make a patch out of it. any ideas how to do this or where to go to get it done?

You could take it to an embroidery shop. It would probably cost a lot to have the pattern made though.
I’ve taken a picture and put it on a patch with T-shirt transfer paper off an ink jet printer. You could scan it and do the same. I got blank patches from an embroidery shop, you might find them at a fabric or craft store. If you find blank patches, have your friend create the design right on the patch with permanent fabric markers.
