Magura HS33 brakes, like new, silver, $70 per wheel.

Very nice condition pre-2005 Magura HS33 brakes in silver come with what ever line length you want, resurfaced black brake pads and are bled and tested for leaks.

$70 per wheel, plus shipping

These brakes will fit on any Kris Holm unicycle: 20, 24, 29 and 36 or any brand of unicycle (Hunter, Nimbus, etc) or bike that comes with dedicated four-bolt Magura mounts that look like this: http://www.inspiredbicycles.com/imag...own-mounts.jpg and a place to mount a lever under the saddle like this: http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=908

Line Length:
I’ll set up your brake with what ever length of brake line you want from 18" on up to 30". Just ask.

Bleeding/testing:
I bleed with fresh Magura blue blood before I test, pack and ship. Bleeding hydraulic brakes is messy and no fun - and so you won’t have to deal with fluid leaks, after I assemble and bleed them, I test them all for leaks by putting the wheel cylinders into a custom test jig that I made. There, I’ll cycle the brake pistons under full power to check for leaks without having to bolt them up to a unicycle frame

Comes with what you see in the pictures, so you will still need to get a set of Magura four bolt mounts like this : http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=907 to mount the brake on your unicycle.

Shipping:
For one brake from Portland, OR is usually $5-$10 for USPS priority mail (three days) to most US addresses. I’m also OK shipping to Canada and have found the USPS first class international rate to be good and deliver in about 7-10 days or so.

Payment:
Paypal works best for me.

I also have other cheaper used magura brakesets for sale (HS22 and more HS33’s on the way). PM me if you have questions. Also, a more direct way to communicate with me is e-mail

Are the red knobs on the lever for adjusting how close the pads are to the rim and if so is that useful to have?

The red TPA knob

Yes, it adjusts how close the brake pads are to the rim when the brake is not engaged.
The TPA knob on the HS33 lever blade is a nice feature that its easy to get used to, but I admit that I don’t use mine that often. I usually ride with mine out all the way.

I actually like the bigger hydraulic piston of the HS22 for most of my unicycles and the larger range of pad travel it provides, but some folks really want the adjustable knob on the 33’s.
