A quick question about Mad 4 one cranks.
Just bought a set of ISIS M41 cranks for my uni.
I have the cranks, and a baggie with the pins and a rubber ring, (and no instructions)
Im assuming the rubber ring goes in first, then the pins (blunt end in - rounded end out)
then install the crank as normal??? is this correct
some of the pins slide in easy some are really tight, I dont want to put this together wrong - I don have any spare pins.
should I grease the pins?
any tips??
Yes that is the correct way to assemble the Mad4one cranks! Also here is a PDF file showing how to do it as well. These do not have the rubber ring in them. But yes they do go in first.
How to mount MAD4ONE Cranks (1).pdf (144 KB)
just in case anyone searches this in future
i was getting a little confused as to whether or not to grease the pins. i was finding 2 different documents, 1 stating yo need to grease the pins the other stating you need to keep them dry.
but got a very prompt answer.
the ISIS cranks need grease,
the 6 pin cranks NO grease
