Here we go.
For all new MacBook users, people who have bought a MacBook in the past 2 months, or anyone who is thinking of buying a MacBook, beware.
A family member has been experiencing problems of his computer shutdown, without any warning.
It was taken to the Apple Store, and the people there tried to remove the “thermal paste” only for the computer to shutdown again when he got back home.
I’ve read online that this has been happening to many MacBook owners.
My brother had a Toshiba laptop with the same problem by we managed to fix it by changing the power settings. Not sure if it’s the same on a mac but it might be worth a shot.
First rule of buying a Mac is that you don’t diss Apple or any Apple products after your purchase. You are now out of the club. Good luck getting any service from a Genius now.
I’ve noticed that there service absolutely sucks. With this whole “genius bar” thing. You can only get an appt. in advance if you pay 100 dollars to be a procare member, thats awful.
Also when my brother told the guy what was happening with it shutting down, and that my brother had read online that this has been a problem with macbook. The “genius” simply responded, I don’t know anything about that and I couldn’t comment on that if I did.
Thats horrible, basically that says that apple is telling their employees to lie to there customers.
From what I’ve seen the old apple products work fine, I just don’t think I’m ever going to buy another apple product after this.
It’s all about control. Apple controls everything from beginning to end. They control the machines, the OS, where you buy it, where you get service, everything. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
