This is one time a little negligence in house cleaning saved a life!
that is alot of soot… maybe it has some strange energy adsorbing property that we are unaware of, needs some looking into
Well, it was piled 2 feet high, so it must have been enough to absorb that fall. Now if it [soot] had not been “contained” inside by the four walls of the chimney, it would have spread out and dispersed, and would not have had the same effect.

i saw that on the news yesterday. that’s insane!
from what i have read/listened too/talked to news person about she seemes to be a bit of an obnoxious brat. But regardless, very lucky she was. It would have been quite a harrowing experience.
