I won $3 yesterday in the lottery. Out of a possible $177 million. Any ideas on how I should spend it?

u pay the tax for people who are bad at maths?

i usually invest my winings in beer
it’s not like i’m spending food money on drink then
(since i’ve never really won more than the the price of the ticket i guess i should say my ‘breakevens’)

Amen.

Out here the interest in the lottery was falling off because the pots weren’t “big” enough. So they raised the odds, the pots got bigger and more tickets were sold. :thinking:

If the pot is big enough I’ll sometimes buy one ticket just for the 15 minutes of fantasy thinking about “What If?”. I can’t remember the last time though, its been a while.

I find no pleasure in casinos either. If I’m going to throw money away it seems to go towards unicyles and parts. I’d probably spend less if I were gambling.:smiley:

a scary stat is the fact that u have more chance of dying (statistically) between buying your lotto ticket on monday and the draw on saturday than u have of getting the numbers right

when in doubt, walk up to a perfect stranger on the street and try n give him his phone number
the odds are about the same

somehow this doesn’t stop me tho

It took me a minute to figure out what you’re talking about, but you’re right, the odds are about the same. Actually, they’re probably better as you’re only dealing with numbers 0-9 rather than 1-50 or something. But like you said, it doesn’t stop me.

I really like that! Where can I get one? My dad traded me his truck, and I’ve been looking for an excuse to cover/replace his Amercian flag sticker with something else. I think we could both be happy with that one.

I went to an Internet bumper sticker custom jobby site. I think it may have been Makesticker.com. But pretty much any of them will do. You design it and fork over some dough, and they print it and stick it in the mail. Throw the search “bumper stickers” into Yahoo and you’ll get dozens of such sites to choose from.

I used that one to cover up my Nader bumper sticker. Looks like I may need to get a new one now. :slight_smile:
