Looking for unicycle dealer in Holland

Hi,

In a month from now I will be in Amsterdam, Netherlands and I’d like to know if there’s a unicycle dealer based there to make a purchase.

Thanks for the help!

I guess there are some stores. Just google on “eenwieler winkel amsterdam” and you will find a few. However good unicycles are usually ordered by mail. I think you are better off by bringing one if this is possible.

Thanks a lot for the help!
I actually need to order a new nightrider 36" wheel, so I’ll try to contact the unicycle dealers in advance and check if they have it in stock.

Thanks again

without here.
So, without Google: there isn’t much, but you may like juggle-store.com.

Hi, you can also try http://www.circus-expert.nl His stock of unicycles and parts are improving day by day. And if he doesn’t have what you want, he wil try almost everything to help you find what you need. His address is in the south of the Netherlands but he wil have stand at the dutch championships the 9th of may 2015 in Spaarnwoude, very near to Amsterdam.
Welcome to join us in the races. It’s open for competitors of foreign lands. We have a 10 km unlimited so you can use your 36 inch  (check our website;www.nkeenwieleren.nl )

yeah,

if you are in Amsterdam in may the http://www.nkeenwieleren.nl held at may 9th is definitely nice. I think you are more than welcome to join the race. I will be there as well:D

Hi All,

Thank you so much for the help.
I’ve contacted http://www.circus-expert.nl a few days ago via google - thanks to @janvanhulzen directions.
@CBK, it’s good to have your recommendation for this one; thanks.

@leo - nice joke, but trust me that I tried google it first but couldn’t do much without knowing the exact phrase in dutch - thanks to @janvanhulzen I successfully found what I was looking for

Thanks again, I couldn’t make it without you

Cheers!

This looks so cool!
But I’m afraid I won’t be able to attend on May…
It’s only Armin van Buuren for the weekend in February for me :)…

May is too far for me to attend, but I hope I can arrange a shipping to Amsterdam via taxi or something - since I noticed that Kwir (the shop location) is at ~2 hours ride distance.
It will take half a day of my short weekend vacation…

It is pretty far. You might bump into mr Kurtz or run the risk of falling off the world if you venture too far into unknown. Who knows.

Anyway at the site http://www.circus-expert.nl/over-ons-page-2 its says that the store is opened “op afspraak” which means that the are open only on request. So you may want to call in before leaving from Amsterdam.

Yes, I was aware of the barrier. Nevertheless, trust me; Google let’s me find unknown unicycle skills from Russia or China and sometimes Japan, based on descriptions in languages that are Chinese to me.

Anyway, the useful pointer wasn’t a joke. It’s far from Bedford Unicycles’ showroom, still a legendary place. But if you’re allergic to circus shops not the place to be.

One other worth-mentioning place that deserves the label legendary is Semcycle, which still is manufacturer -as in dirty hands, and NOT box moving (of products from notary child-labor countries)- but in NL it’s not a consumer outlet anymore, in the US however it still is.

@leo, thanks a lot for the tips - I appreciate it.
I’ll check it out.
