I have a Savage unicycle, and it’s seat lives up to it’s manufacturer’s name.
I’m soliciting suggestions for a replacement seat that would be more comfortable.

From a Savage, pretty much anything will be an improvement. If you’re on a budget, tape some sandpaper to a 2 x 4 and nail that on top of your existing seat. You’ll be amazed at the increase in comfort! 
Beyond that, go for the KH or similar. Definitely the most comfortable seat you can buy as-is.
The next step would be an air seat, which can be made by putting an inner-tube into a Miyata or other seat. This involves buying the seat, a tube, and then a bunch of labor though. Or a much more expensive pre-made one from Unicycle.com:

The actual Miyata branded saddles seem to be out of stock until Winter! Guess I’ll just have to go to Japan if I want a new one… 
I have a Sun 20" and I bought a Kris Holm saddle. Wow. It is worth the money. I have not started to hurt any. That is the only seat I have tried. Remember if you buy the Miyata you will need to get the seat post for it. I haven’t tried the new Torker seat yet. But I like the KH seat.
