Kris Holm Uni with 125mm cranks. Slap some Odyssey Twisted Plastics(pedals) on there while your at it.
125mm? Iām assuming you mean the KH trials uni, which comes with 137mm cranks. According to UDC, there is no other size crank option. Could you be thinking about K1 or other isis crank?
Koxx has these (steel) āstreet cranksā in 135mm only.
and then these (Alum alloy) come in 125mm.
Well, heās a bedford rider now, so Iām assuming bedford has it and UDC doesnāt?
lol.
Either get the 20āā KH trials uni,
Or the Nimbus street unicycle 07.
I use the nimbus street uni. It feels nice to throw around. But then again, iāve never ridden a KH.
Hereās a shot of the current bedford cranks list. I found the kh/onza cranks in 125mm, but those must be the older chromoly type, since the āmomentsā are the current crank type, speaking of which, I didnāt even see any moments on the list.
You need to Know what is out there or ask Darren. I dont thinkg his list has been updated since I have been ridding.
Anyway. They are right here:
http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=956
You can get the 125s on your 19" uni in place of the 137s is you ask.
Yeah this is just my opinion (and others Iāve talked to agree strongly) that Bedfordās website not only needs updating, but PICTURES! And user friendly, with nicely designed pages for the various items, with detailed descriptions. Compared to UDCās website, (Which has it own flaws), itās like the difference between DOS and Windows!
Ahh, well thatās just one more thing that UDC needs to address! Yes, they may be on the site, but I was initially looking at the KH trials, and nohwere there does it give an option for crank size, and only lists 137mm. So unless a person checking the website knows to ask, or look elswhere on the site, it gives the impression that only 137ās are available.
Oh, and btw, are 137ās not good for street? Iām guessing itās more a matter of what you are used to and what you prefer. Iām sure there are many who ride street with 137ās as well as other sizes. Am I wrong here? Or is it really all about individual preference?
I think Zachary wenner had 145s and double flippedā¦ Itās all personal preference, although some cranks may be easier to ride with than others to a brand new rider.
Yeah, I just bought my uni from Bedford Unicycles and asked him to just sell me it with 125s on instead of 137s. No problem.
I think Darren is going to be making a new website soon. Thatās what he told me, and I think Jkohse might be making him a site?
A (proper) website will be nice for those people who donāt like 40 minutes away from him
