My family and I are planing on moving to London or Paris…which place has the bigger unicycle scean?
London is pretty good, two unihockey clubs and a load of trials riders including joe hodges (world no.2). The last major trials ride in london had about 35 riders. I believe a fair few people also commute by uni in london.
All the riders around the London area are spread around quite far. But the main London riding scene itself is awesome. Me and Joe Hodges live in a suburb of London and we are up in the main city riding on a lot of weekends.
Paris might have a bigger thing, maybe, I’m not sure. But London city is famous for having awesome trials spots amongst biketrials riders. It sure is awesome for riding unis in.
Assuming you’re from the states, judging from your screenname, could it be easier to move to London instead of Paris, seeing as you don’t need to get used to a foreign language? And yeah, there are quite a few unicycling clubs in London.
Are they going to base their decision, in any way whatsoever, on where the good unicycling scene is? If so, that would be super-cool!
We went to Paris last summer, and it’s a beautiful place. Great Trials riders there. London also has access to lots of riders.
Or were you talking about the London and Paris in Southern Ontario?
i’m taking french classes all this year…so it rly doesn’t matter where we move to in that sence but they are basing where we live on where I’m gonna fit in the most so i wanna try to find some friends before we move so i can ride with people and what not lol
London coz u can come to the Swums and all the Uk meets!
Where abouts in england are you?
