I think you are taking your moniker a bit too seriously, monkeyman. Humans don’t fit through dog doors or monkey doors.
Yeah they do… Dog doors can be pretty big. Or at least the ones at my Grandparents house is.

I remember when my scorpion killed 2 redback spiders and 1 huntsman. Just to see my scorpion grab them by the head with his claws and use its stinger repeatedly was something that i will never forget.
I just thought i’d share that with you all. 
Raccoons, squirrels, dear, and other wildlife that can be at home in urban areas are cute till they become a nuisance or a pest. They’re not like pets and they can carry disease and make a mess of things.
Animal lovers are just people who have never had to deal with wildlife that become pests and a health hazard.
Man…you could’ve filmed that, edited in the Tokyo cityscape as the background, and sold it to Hollywood.
Hmmmm…maybe next time when i get my next exotic pet. 
…and punched a goat in the face.

Assume the raccoon can’t use a key, and hide one outside somewhere.
I recently installed a sliding-door-insert doggie door into our back bedroom. The idea is for our dogs to be able to go outside to go to the bathroom at night. So far this part is still sketchy, but they’ve all three learned to use the door. For this to work, I also had to install a deadbolt lock on that bedroom door, in case someone (or thing) that doesn’t belong comes in through the dog door. It’s 9" x 15", the smallest size that will pass Betty Lou.
The only difference between an animal lover and a hunter is one mugging by a racoon.
