Little Help Please

Hey, im new to the whole unicycling thing and looking to upgrade to a Trials Unicycle but not too sure what to go for. i’ve got this Trainer unicycle for xmas and has been going well. i now can ride long distances and do small jumps on and off pavements. http://www.firetoys.co.uk/juggling/20_club_unicycle.html

i was looking at onza limey but i have been told that the frame is crap.
and now looking at Nimbus Trials 19" ISIS Unicycle or Qu-Ax Splined Trials Unicycle - ISIS.

but now need a little help trying to find the right unicycle for me.

Thanks

Matthew

I’d get the nimbus, but if you can find a cheap qu-ax either one is good.

ok thanks im going to go for the Nimbus but
what is better a Alumminium or Cromo Seatpost there is not price diffrents :confused

sorry im a bit of a newbie

personally i think you should get the cromo seatpost. somebody correct me if im wrong, but i think most people on this site would say the same.

Get the Nimbus Trials ISIS with upgraded Kris Holm cranks (137)

1+ with the cromo seatpost

The new 08 qu ax is a very nice machine. I’d get the quax over the nimbus for the following reasons:

-Reinforced alu seatpost (light but very strong).
-Wider rim, makes a big difference in overall “feel” of unicycle.
-48 spokes, while overkill, it does make the rim stay true longer and stronger
-New nubless cranks (used to crack people ankles before they were denubbed) are pretty nice, definitely on par with the KH moments.
-Kool Yellowmellow look.

go with that unless you are serious then get a kris holm. they are more but they are suppose to be better. i just ordered one myself

quax is too heavy…

aluminium is lighter, but weaker, so it depends what you want. Hard riders break al seatposts quite quickly.
