Line Rider 2

Line Rider 2 Beta has been released! Here’s my first creation on it. The main added features are an eraser, a straight line tool, scenery (no effect on the rider) and accelerator lines, and a zoom tool. Very improved, and slightly less challenging than the original.

Heh, nice track. I liked the part where he jumped onto several small pieces of track, you laid that out nicely.

Oh yeah, I saw that last week and forgot about it. I like the changes, but, I think the accelerator thing is kinda useless, and takes away the fun of it. Also making straight lines, that isn’t as fun either… I like the roughness of wobbly lines and stuff.

Interesting, two weeks ago when I first heard about linerider I thought it was useless, I just started playing number one today, but I will have a go at number two now.
Your really good at that game. I think I know how you did the individual parts of the track though and it doesn’t seem to hard.
But we will keep it a secret for now.

No trick to the individual track sections. Seriously, he just had enough speed to jump between them.

If somebody notices that it was stopped about 1 minute in, it’s because my camera has a 1 minute record time. So, I had to stop it, and split it into two sections.

Definitly some glitches in the game, once you guy has a starting drop point then that point will never change, even if you erase the front part of the track and start it somewhere else.

I don’t like the accelerator line…the rest is really cool though.

check out this video I found.

I can’t believe people play this.

Yeah james, that video is on the front page of the linerider page.

Awsome eh? I’ve been wating so long for this. Christmas came early for me.

Not really but you know

I’ve been praying for a line rider eraser for so long, and the straight line tool was cool too. Not a fan of the acceleration lines, the point is to manipulate gravity to best affect.

How do you get acceleration lines?

When you click on the far left icon three colour boxes appear below it, the blue is a normal line, the green is a scenery line and the red is an acceleration line, unfortunately it only accelerates the part of the sled which touches it so it can cause it to flip over.

A second creation of mine, now with a more freestyle-ish theme. Also recorded screen capture style with Hypercam.

way better…

Everyone hates the accelerator lines:( If you use em fright they’re nice. i use them were a ram curves the most or on loops somtimes.

Low-Rider will now be stuck in my head the rest of the day. Thanks.

Nice…

How long does it take you to make these?

I wonder how long this took…

Dude, that was awesome!
