Are there any riders local to me that’d be up for a ride? I should have my new uni within the next 2 weeks 
Not sure about lincolnshire but there are a fair few cambridge riders. The only problem is getting them together.
I’m in Long Bennington, between Grantham and Newark. Good for occasional rides on 28, 29 or 36 of 10 or so miles - more with a bit of planning.
Ahh I’m completely the other side of Lincolnshire to you MikeFule, in Cleethorpes…I don’t drive either 
Once I’ve recovered from the financial blow of buying a new 36er I’ll look into trains/busses
