Limited parts availability at NAUCC/Unicon

Dear fellow unicyclists:

We look forward to seeing each of you at the NAUCC this year. We’re
attending as spectators, competitors and as a vendor. Like many of you,
we’ll be attending our first World Championships, Unicon 11. Many
thanks to Alan Tepper, Tom Daniels and the Panther Pride Team, and a
host of other volunteers for accepting this very large challenge and
making it a reality. What a treat!

We’re received many inquiries from unicyclists outside the USA about
parts availability. Our hosts in North Bend have graciously offered
space to us for unicycle repairs. We’re bringing cranks, pedals, tires,
tubes, etc. in case you need them. Since we’re flying to Seattle rather
than driving with our parts trailer, we’re shipping a limited number of
parts in advance by UPS.

We sincerely don’t want to disappoint anyone. We do our best to
anticipate your needs, but we can’t ship everything. For those
traveling to the USA, we suggest ordering from our Web site
(www.Unicycle.com <http://www.unicycle.com/> ) and shipping directly to
the main Unicon location:

flawless performance!

Nice to see you guys planning ahead to help us out. Thanks…

Don’t take this the wrong way, because I love the service you guys provide. But, are there going to be other vendors there? The reason I ask is because I’ll probably be buying a new frame for my 24" and I’d kinda like to keep options open - maybe talk to some people and learn some things. I like the Nimbus II, but I don’t think I can get that from you guys. However, if I can’t get a Nimbus II at all, I’ll probably buy a Semcycle XL from you guys.

RE: Limited parts availability at NAUCC/Unicon

Hi Mr. Brazzi.

Thanks for your kind comments. Our huge shipment of Nimbus II frames is
due the end of July. We’re introducing a complete line of unicycles
based on the Nimbus II frame design, but (begging Roger’s forgiveness)
we’re branding it ‘Yuni’, as in Yuni Cycles.

We will likely have just one of these at Unicon, but they’ll be
available in our catalog. The retail price will be determined once we
have all the charges (shipping, import duties, trucking, etc.), but we
expect it to be in the $40 USD range.

Best regards,

John

Uh-oh, a jpg posted to our all-text group. The spelling police may
leave you alone but expect the picture police to knock on your door
any moment… (This may not make sense to ppl posting via
unicyclist.com)

Are you planning on having any Roach pads there? My current pair is getting to small for me. They keep sliding down, exposing my knees. Anyway, I was hoping to try on a few sizes at the convention, to avoid having to guess about sizing online.
