Level question

For the IUF level 3, we must be able to “Ride with the stomach on the
seat for 10 m”.

Last nigth, I was trying to ride like that, but my problem was to switch
from standart riding to "stomach on the seat" riding. For the level
test, we start the ride with the "stomach on the seat", or we must put
the stomach on the seat during the ride, and then ride 10 meter ?

In the second case, any help to do that ?

            Thank you.

You must ride into and out of all skills. Therefore, stomach on seat can be
broken into 3 steps:
1. riding to seat in front
2. riding stomach on seat 10 meters
3. seat in front to riding

This is typically the most difficult skill to learn for level 3, the other being
riding over a 10 cm obstacle.

Try these hints/exercises:
4. Learn to ride lifting your body up off the seat on every revolution. It
should look like you are bouncing off the saddle. Do this by extending
your legs at the ankles lifting yourself up on the balls of your feet.
You should be riding with the balls of your feet over the pedal.
5. Learn to do a brief stall. Ride and stall breifly with your pedals
parallel to the floor. Start the stall just before they are parallel.
6. When riding with the seat out, place as much weight from your stomach on
the seat as possible. This keeps it from floating around. If you lower
your seat as some recommend, this will be harder.
7. I think it is easier to ride with both arms to the sides rather than one
holding the seat.
8. To get into stomach on seat , stall, lift your body up, pull the seat
out and get down on it and start pedaling.
