Level 11

Here is some thoughts I put together back in 96:

I have taken a different approach to the levels above 10. Here’s how I
approached it:

  1. Break the skills down to 2 classes. Class A: Forward and Backward (Generally
    no left and right skill to be learned.) examples are: riding, wheel walk,
    seat in back, etc. And number the skills in the Class (more or less by
    difficulty level): 1 - forward 10 meters 2 - forward circle 3 - forward
    figure 8 4 - backward 10 meters 5 - backward circle 6 - backward figure 8 7 -
    Back spin 8 - front spin 9 - forward spin * 10- pirouette * 11- backward spin

    • 12- backward pirouette * (The * items could also have the Left/Right
      direction requirement) Class B: Forward/Backward and Left/Right foot
      (examples 1 foot, 1 foot wheel walk, etc.) 1 - forward 10 meters 2 - forward
      circle 3 - forward figure 8 4 - forward 10 meters Left and Right 5 - forward
      circle Left and Right 6 - forward figure 8 Left and Right 7 - backward 10
      meters 8 - backward circle 9 - backward figure 8 10- backward 10 meters Left
      and Right 11- backward circle Left and Right 12- backward figure 8 Left and
      Right 13- Back spin 14- front spin 15- forward spin * 16- pirouette * 17-
      backward spin * 18- backward pirouette *
  2. Now to fit these into the existing levels (I have skipped some of the
    skills such as mounts, hopping, turns, etc.): LEVELS … Skill(Class) 1 2 3

  1. Fill in levels 11-???

Note how the skills progress from 1 on up. For the higher skills the progression
just continues. Other skills could be added to round out the levels as needed.

Other (high level) Skills could be: 1Ft. Seat Bck(Class B) 1Hand WW (Class B)
1Ft. Drag Seat Fnt (Class B) 1Ft. Drag Seat Back (Class B) Stand up skills
(Class A and B) Others???

So (a first suggestion) level 11 may be: 11 types of mounts one foot backward
circle Left and Right (class B-11) Seat in front back spin and front spin (class
A-7&8) Seat on side figure 8 (class A-3) Wheel walk back in figure 8 (class A-6)
Hand wheel walk in a circle (class A-2) Glide in a circle (class A-2) 1 hand
wheel walk 10 meters (class A-1) hop twist 360 hop on wheel one footed

Someone else could fill in the levels who knows better how difficult (or
impossible) they the skills may be. It looks to me that we can easily go to
level 25 or more.
