less than half a percent(in 3 classes)from higher grade point averages....

:astonished:

:frowning:

gah!

Well, get to it.

I canā€™t --classes are over, otherwise i wouldnā€™t be complaining

Why donā€™t they round up?

Because the man wants to get us down.

i hope i get good grades, i have to do 3 GCSEs 1 year early! and than im doing a level stuff in them subjects i think.

When I went to junior college, no one looked at my high school GPA. No one looked at my SAT scores.

When I finished junior college, I was guaranteed admission to a four-year state university. I only needed a ā€œCā€ average, but I did much better than that.

I went to the four-year university and, again, they didnā€™t care about any test scores.

Then I did a summer internship. There were few entry requirements, but as a bonus of completion, I was offered a research position and guaranteed admission into Stanford.

ā€¦and to think I worried so much about my grades and tests? Hah!

Good people skills, diligence and determination will smooth over any bumps in your academic record. Donā€™t sweat the grades. Itā€™s small stuff in the big picture.

I ruined my 4.0 this semester. I got one A- so now my GPA sits at a measly 3.95. Iā€™m so ashamed.

Totally, I like to think of it that way. Canā€™t tell that to my father.

Perfection should be a goal, never a destination.

I forgot to add a disclaimer.

All that hard work will cover up one or two "C"s on your report cardā€¦ but you canā€™t cover up a couple years of mediocre effort. You should be in kick-@ss mode throughout school!

Iā€™m just sayinā€™, donā€™t sweat a couple bum grades here and there.

90% should be a goal. A 90% A looks just as good as a 100% A. 100% A means you worked 10% too hard.

Really? 100% should be the goal, with 90% an acceptable outcome.

Our procurement and payment department will reimburse travel funds up to a 150% of allowable cost, doesnā€™t this mean that 150% is actually then a full 100% allowable cost?

The point here is that you should always lobby the chain of command in the event of a few points. What would Henry Kissinger do?

Nothing is above politics.

Slacker.

Yes, I know, I know. Woe is me.

But then again, since by comparison nothing exists that can compare to the Harper epitome of brilliance, by your perspective I can understand your comment.

Well said, Greg. You have a way with word.

Reminds me of a John Drummond story. A guy came up to him once and said, ā€œHey, nice set of wheel!ā€
