I had a bad unicycle day, but not a bad day on the whole.
Went to a bike for cancer charity ride, was the only person there with a unicycle. I believe the antihistamine I’m taking is throwing off my balance and endurance. I fell twice, once to my hands, and once to my butt, didn’t get hurt. That was before the ride. Nice bear claw scratch to back of my leg though, from the pinned pedals. Not bloody enough for picture worthiness.
Of the different class rides; 3, 5, 20 and 40 mile I only felt up to the 3 mile flat ride, and even then dismounted once because of a vertigo feeling.
The weather was nice, got 2 t-shirts from the ride, and a lunch. The sponsor www.Bikeway.com is very generous.
I felt so bad about my unicycling that when I got home, I dusted off, pumped up the tires of my bicycle which had been ignored for 3 years, and rode it. I hate to admit that it felt good to ride a bicycle again. Coasting, what a feeling.
