Laptop recommendations.

Hey Im getting a laptop for graduation and was wanting to get one with a good video card and at least a 15 inch screen. (but preferably a 17 inch.)
I wanted to keep the price under 1300 if possible…

Apple laptops are really nice but not cheep, I got my PowerBook G4 a few years ago, it was $700 off due to the fact that it was a demo and someone dropped an iMac on it and had a small dent in the casing. Never had any problems with it and it works beautifully.

If you can find a deal grab it

I would never buy a mac. It all really depends on what your going to be using it for. Gaming is a whole diffrent setup from anything else.

What do you mean by good video card? What does it need to be able to do? Gaming?

Here’s a benchmark list of mobile graphics cards.

Asus has some laptops with good video specs in the F3 series. For example this one. That gets you dedicated video memory (instead of shared system memory for the video).
