Korean Air Internet special on Beijing flights for UNICON!

For UNICON attendees:

John Hooten or Nathan Hoover found a great deal on Korean Air flights to
Beijing! We will be flying from San Francisco for about $700 each, via Seoul.
Both Nathan and I have flown Korean Air before, and we both liked it very much
(it’s how I got to UNICON III).

Tickets must be purchased at their web site: http://www.koreanair.com Click on
the link marked Internet Specials, then click around in there until you see a
“Reservation” link in the left column. This will take you to where you can do a
search and purchase tickets.

NOTE: You may need version 4.7 or higher of Netscape, or probably version
5. or higher of Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you experience a problem, you
might be able to purchase your tickets over the phone at the same price.

A group of at least 10 of us is leaving from San Francisco on KE24, then KE851
from Seoul. This flight starts at 2:30am on July 29 (early!). We’re coming
home on August 12 on KE852, then KE23, with a total subjective travel time of
50 minutes.

If you would like to join us, we can try to arrange to sit together in the
plane. Otherwise, check out the Korean Air site and see what seat they have left
on other dates! Korean flies from several cities on both the East and West
coasts, plus Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and Toronto.

Good luck, John Foss, the Uni-Cyclone (reply to jfoss@unicycling.com)
