Scalloway (where the pics were taken) is the second largest port in Shetland
which means lots of boats. Now I’m not saying all boat crews do it but, as
you can see, lots of junk seems to get chucked overboard and washes up on
the shore. Grrrr! That accounts for the colourful bits - the rest is
seaweed.

oh i see.

we still have half of a crashed oil tanker (the New Carrissa)parked here on the Oregon coast.

its been there for 2 years,aint litter great?
