KH 29 frame (anodized 2005 model)

Hi everybody,

my good old KH29 frame is in search for a new home.

It is the 2005 version with the reinforced crown and small thingy on top of the crown. The frame is anodized and not painted like later frames. It is even almost 100g lighter than the latest model :stuck_out_tongue:

The clearance (with a KH XC 38mm rim) goes up to a Maxxis Hookworm 29x2.5 (63-622) with few mm of top clearance or Continental Trail King 29x2.4 (60-622) with a few mm of clearance too.
Fun fact: in both cases, the reinforcement plate serves a tire-cleaner with tiny rocks or snow :smiley:

As usual it has its share of surface scratches and impacts due to years of Muni riding. It is not bent nor cracked and it is still strong.

Ideally, I would love to trade it for a 24in aluminum frame. But I am opened to other offers too. PM me :slight_smile:

Why do you say it’s anodized ? I had same frame, now my daughter is riding it and it’s blue painted as all KH2005 and further versions !

Ok my bad. I saw a 2013 or 2014 frame that is way darker and the impact spots were revealing a thicker layer with the edges more like paint sliver than this one where it seems you are scratching the aluminum without getting any sliver or sliver-like look.
