I brought a KH 29 in 2012 and I’m happy with it, but the maximum tyre it can take is - I think a 2.7. I notice the new model can take a 3" tyre. Therefore is the frame wider? If so is the hub the same? My current hub is a KH Moment ISIS.

I own a 2015 KH29 and it uses the standard size 100mm size hub so your moment hub will work perfect. The fork legs being slightly widened ( 5.25" outside to outside just above the tire), a slight increase in axle to crown height, and the new one piece crown design allow the 3" Knard to fit perfectly.
