kevlar beaded tires

(i tried to ask this on another site but i got no resonse so either its a dumb question or nobody knows)

i always thought that a kevlar bead in a tire was stronger and lighter,so why is it that these huge nokians and such dont have this option?also does any body know what the widest 26" or 24" tire is that has a kevlar bead?i’ve never seen any larger than 2.215

im not sure to be honest with you

I have a 26 X 2.5 Specialized Big Hit Pro which has a kevlar bead and is
substantially lighter than the 26X 2.65 Gazz jr. The Big Hit is actually
the same width as the Gazz, but has less overall volume. The traction
isn’t nearly as good as the Gazz. John Childs tells me the Big Hit is
being discontinued as well.

I think they dont have a kevlar bead on the Nokian tires because the
sidewalls are stiffer with normal whatever in 4 ply than a kevlar can be.
