i feel like riding a kangaroo unicycle. can i just turn my crappy old training uni into one? how would i go about adjusting the cranks?
Re: kangaroo
Just remove it and install it so they are both going the same direction.
NICE!
Well you could do that…But a real Kangaroo uni has an offset hub so it’s different.
A kangaroo does not necessarily have an off center hub.
That one does happen to have an off center hub which that page calls an “eccentric.”
My friend and i turned an old savage into one and boy does it work your legs. It takes abou an hour to get ued to. But its really fun.
Re: kangaroo
This may have been discussed before but did anyone try a
half-kangaroo, i.e. with a 90-degree offset? The conversion is just as
simple, and it might make transitioning your uni skill to the
full-blown kangaroo easier.

I have a feeling you might need two points of contact with the ground for such a thing to work? Or at least training wheels on the front and rear. - John Foss commenting on a picture of a one-wheeled vehicle he saw on RSU.
