K1 DH Street Pro

can i have a review on the dh street pro by koxx 1?
please thanks bye.

i rode it for a few months (with trials cranks). Its a beefy uni, i suggest it for “big street”.

lets just say its a mcmullin uni.

Krisztian Kovacs used one for a couple of years, so I wouldn’t really consider it “big street.”

for ur style i think u should go for it but maybe with ur kh frame (lighter and less painful on the knees) and maybe a coloured rim (plus go for a better/stronger seat and seat post)

The K1 “raw” frame is bad news. The clear coat on it is very weak, and if you live where there is any humidity the frame will rust even if you keep it dry. Other than that the uni is awesome. Great cranks, good flipping length still have lots of controll, good for flat, super sexy seat cover, the clamp looks bad ass, but in all truth its a bit overkill, and something smaller seams to me, to be nicer. I did not like the pedals that came on it, light but I dont like those style of pins.

Summary:
Awesome wheelset, great for street and flat, strong rim, and cranks will hold up fine for light-average weight riders. Sweat ass seat.
IMO, you are better off building up soemthing similar to the DH pro model but without the raw frame, and some cheaper pedals. Also upgrading to the Pitfighter II would be a much better idea than the PF I.

well i would, considering the frame is fairly heavy, and theres no drilled rim.
honestly i think its stupid to call this a Dan Heaton unicycle, its NOTHING like his style at all!

good uni though i guess

plus Kovacs isnt the “smoothest” of riders, his style is really aggressive

so should i get it.

THanks, too.

I would just stick with a KH20…

the team is trying out K1 unis so yeah. i might customise my own k1.
