i’m sure this post will be met with a flood of posts linking to where this’s been mentioned before but i haven’t been around much recently so i’ll beg your forgiveness upfront

Gild! It’s good to see you back. The PacoGild Movement just wasn’t the same without you.

I would comment more on the Marmite, but believe it or not, I’ve forgotten what it is.

Edit: I just noticed that they spelled “flavor” wrong on the package. You’d think they would be able to get a good editor (editour?) for a package of crisps.

RAT CHIPS!!!

yumm

They also spelled “Lay’s” and “chips” wrong. :stuck_out_tongue:

This from a guy made famous for spelling “Mountain Dew” wrong… :stuck_out_tongue:

All this gives me an appetite for some…

Nutella!

Somehow, I don’t think that Marmite flavoured Nutella would sell very well. But then again, you never can tell with them Brits (they’re tricky little devils).

I don’t see anything wrong with their spelling of “flavour”

They have been out for ages and aparently they taste nothing like Marmite and thats a good point

Trev

I quite like them, but their not as marmity as twiglets.
Do I need to try and find weight for a jar of marmite in the unicon baggage. As for the Lys v wakers debate. Wlakers is a Brit firm based in leicester, been there for years making crisps, I assume they have at some point been bought by Lays or the same parent company. Which ever, it was werid seeing all these walkers bags with the wronng name on when we were at Unicon 11.
Think I might go have marmite on toast for supper now.

WOW! What would it take to get a sample bag of Marmite flavoured crisps? In the absence attending UNICON this year, maybe it would give us our cultural food fix for this summer. Are they available anywhere in the states? If not, would a friendly British chap be willing to exchange a bag for return postage?

After UNICON in Seattle, we still have our jar of Marmite in the cupboard. As we learned from our British friends, I like it spread very, very thinly on buttered crackers. Brad almost eats it out of the jar.

Email me at yoopers at inwave1.com.

Thanks,
Bruce

Myers of Keswick in Greenwich Village, NYC carries them.

So they are available stateside. I’ll have to go a-searching.

Thanks, Raphael.

Pardon me, but what’s marmite?

On this, has any one had Dr, Brown’s Cel Ray?

A better question would be “Who’s George Crum, and why is he rolling in his grave?”

thread jacker!

Try this thread.

Yeah and “colour”.

cough color cough

You’re right. That’s a much better question. I’m sure there’s a relationship there, but it’s great on its own.

Thank you, I will.

People in Britain and America: Tell me if I’m wrong, but I think that you spell flavor “flavor” in America and “flavour” in Britain. The same thing with colour.
