It’s ok/normal to feel pressure down there (as in, there’s no seat available that doesn’t press against the area), but as long as it’s not painful, and that I treat it reasonably by wearing shorts, and not riding for all too long without a break, it should be ok?

as long as it’s just pressure, or discomfort, that’ll pass - well, be postponed, with time and practice.
Thousands of unicyclists have wondered the same thing, yet many have had children, so I guess it will work out for the best.
