At times I wish to quote just small section of sombodys therad and end up having full steatement no metter how I try to mark only what is relevent . HOW NOT TO WASTE THE SPACE AND NOT TO CREATE UNNECESSARY TRAFFICK ?
I will appreciate advice.Thanks. Uniwitold.
What I do is highlight the part I want to quote, then press control-c to copy it. Then do a âPost Replyâ, hit the Quote button, and then control-v to paste into the quote space. Works pretty well but you have to add your own bold markers if you want bold. Doesnât work too well if the poster put in hard carriage returns.
Re: Just technical question.
I just click on the âquoteâ button, then delete whatever I donât want from the original. Easy!

Exactly, my next question?
Erin
So how DO you make it bold. It I do âcontrolâ B it doesnât seem to work, any other ways to make the quote bold?
Erin
Well there you go! Nevermind, obviously the computer is reading my mind (again! ) and just doing if for me!
Erin
The QUOTE button puts the bold codes in for you in the quote part, but you can put bold text in below, too.
You can do it two ways: manually, by putting before the text you want bold and after; or by clicking on the button in the vB Code section above the box where you enter your reply text.
Itâs nice of you to ask questions about the user interface - it makes me feel useful since I canât offer much in the way of uni advice⌠yet!
