I brought a Unicycle at a yard sale and want to learn how to use it, I put a new tire and tube in it and it’s much easier to move but now I think it’s too short for me. Long story short I think I’m going to have something that fits a 5’ 11" male. I was wondering if anyone knew any training classes or bike shops that have unicycles in the metro Detroit Michigan area.
Soo, before you start classes i can start to teach you now, or at least give you the main point on how to start.
Grab the uni and hold it in front of you
Find a low wall to hold onto, or find a little parking curb and set the wheel and one of the crank arms backward so the uni wont go anywhere.
set your foot on the dominant side with the crank facing you.
(heres the hard part that gets most people) be as light as air, pretend you stepping on a traffic cone, jump in the air and only put the slightest bit of pressure on that foot thats on the pedal, try to set both feet on.
5(reveiw) get against a wall, get the uni in front of you, make sure the dominant foots crank arm is facing you, pretend your stepping on a traffic cone,
jump on with the other foot, ride away into the sunset.
ah yes, we do indeed have a WONDERFUL club and it so happens the one you (tcb) contacted about your club is my mother infact, and I do hope to see you soon
