Just got back from Paris!

I had an amazing time. I saw a ridiculous amount of things in the short 5 days I was there. There’s nothing like experiencing another culture…it can make you dislike and appreciate your own at the same time. I tried many amazing foods, cheeses, beers, wines, and learned a considerable amount of French in just 5 days. I’d highly recommend the trip to anyone who’s considering it. The french are the nicest of people, despite popular belief.

A quick bizzare story:

I had arranged to meet with a small group of unicyclists, but sadly, I forgot to bring the map of their meeting spot. I wandered around the metro stop closest to their meeting spot for about a half hour before I gave up finding them :(. On my way back to the hotel (which is probably a good 5-6 miles from the meeting spot) I passed by a cafe and saw a few of my friends in the window. I went in and ordered dinner. Halfway through the meal, what do I see? But 5 unicyclists strolling along the sidewalk! I ran outside and introduced myself as a unicyclist. It was quickly apparent that I was the “American” who’d arranged to meet with them. I only rode and conversed with them for a few minutes before I decided I ought to get back to my meal…Although, had I done it again, I would’ve ditched the meal to ride. At the moment I could only think about how AMAZING (and expensive) the dinner was haha.

Here are some of my best pictures:

And I saved the best for last
