Here’s the info on that commercial I just appeared in. It’s for Little Caesers Pizza, and should start airing by the end of this month. I was also told that it will be national, and if you miss it don’t worry…I was also told it will be running for TWO YEARS!!! Too bad i won’t get residuals! 
But it was still fun! 
Mmmm, Little Seizures! Possibly the best $5.00 pizza(-pizza) out there. 
Huh, pizza? My pizza-cutting unicycle is still waiting to be in a commercial like that!
(I will bring it to next UNICON, as Italy is of course the pizza country)

In all honesty, I would have done the commercial for no pay. It was so fun plus it’ll be seen nationwide for two years, which will be a nice to have on my resume. 
Great that you enjoyed the experience. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to see it up here in Canada.
All the actors will get a link sent by email to download the commercial, so I can put it on youtube as well.

What’s so off about it is , well, any of us dummies, even me maybe, coulda pulled that one off. They paid a man of your talent to just hold a puppet for a few seconds.
Anyway, cool, thanks for sharing Terry. Not your most impressive work IMHO , but a good score for you I hope in $. I was hoping for more Terry awesomeness, a bit of a let down that way, but I understand.

It was a hoot to be in it too…but there was also a LOT of waiting around, which is typical, lol.
You’re right, they certainly didn’t need a real ventriloquist, and I even asked my agent about it since none of of had a speaking part in the commercial. She told me they wanted a vent who was familiar with manipulating the figure’s head, eyes, mouth and overall movement. But with the limited space and time we each had, there wasn’t much to do but just hold the figure as the Steadicam quickly pulled back through the performers.

Is it really one take? how many tries did it take? Must be a lot of choreography involved off camera just to get it all to come together for the camera view. With your video experience, did ya have moments where you wanted to suggest a better way of filming the shot?
