Here’s another vid from riding last weekend. Mostly bikes but at the beginning there’s a
hard-to-see unicycle drop off the top of a 10 foot van onto a 4 foot transition box, to the
ground.
I don’t think there is an official name to the trick, but i’ve heard people call it “toe stall” and “toe jam”. Theres some cool variations that can be done where you 180/360 straight into it. It can also be done as a kinda street move where you air onto something and land in the toe stall. You gotta shift your feet to the cranks in midair. Maybe i’ll post some video of that.
Oh yeah, I put up one small clip of this kid named Nick from North Bend (I forgot his last name), doing a cool little street move. Hopefully I can get some more of the evolving street tricks up for people to see.
Sweet moves guys… That foot plant is a great looking move. I’m sure you could incorperate uni spins into that too. But first I’ll just have to work on landing a uni spin w/o the fancy stuff…
Thanks for that. What a move! Being a lone rider the only new moves I ever get to see are those that appear on the net… which, up until now, ain’t many. So if you’ve got more clips then by all means please post 'em when you get a chance.
That said, I’m coming to UNICON and staying at North Bend So I’ll get to see other riders and what they are doing for real and, hopefully, pick up some new tricks…

Wow! Your Norco teammates are as gonzo as you. It was great to get a glimpse
of a Norco Factory Trials Team show. It looks very entertaining, even better
than what we saw the Flow Riders do at Sea Otter on their giant bridges.

them.” – Cliff Cordy, describing the very heavy new prototype unicycle he
brought on the Downieville Downhill
