If I were to practice juggling 1-2 pound weighted balls, which muscles would I work out?
Could this cause (irreparable) damage to my wrists?

I’ve got some real marble balls (about 1.5 inches diameter) that I juggle with sometimes. I’ve never had a wrist problem doing this. I have noticed that it mostly impacts my biceps with a little impact on my forearms and shoulders.
Hope this helps.

Re: Juggling/Anatomy experts check in here
i wouldn’t call myself an expert in either field
it is my understanding that juggling with weighted balls as opposed to the usually fairly light balls used for juggling will strengthen the ‘juggling’ muscles and esp if u find erratic height throws handicapping your attempts at learning 5 balls or more, training in this way can be beneficial
depending on the amount of wrist action u use in your juggling technique, i would assume that overdoing it can injure the wrists
the ‘danger’ weight would vary from juggler to juggler
why the question?
Beard make some balls called DX Power balls. They are like their normal DX balls (tough rubber coating) but are filled with loads of steel ball bearings, making them really heavy. They are great exercise and I haven’t had any problems with my wrists. The only problem is that they really hurt when you drop them on your toes!
