OK, the resemblance to Jagur notwithstanding, this might be funny if anybody besides Communists actually took Communists seriously. I’m sure most Americans, though I can’t speak for Russians, if given the choice for Russia of a return to communism or the continuation of the post-Soviet kleptocracy, would choose the latter.

…are you telling me that the site is actually funny? I’ve read a few pages and it’s about as amusing as a Dave Barry column.

Or am I missing something and this is supposed to be serious?

I thought it was funny. In a sublte way, that some may not see initially. I didn’t know if you thought it was serious by your previous comment. It wasn’t clear if you were chiding me or the site. Don’t feel obligated to respond, I would not want to keep someone from being productive.

Jagur is yet to answer that q but now that you bring it up, he (jagur, whoever the guy on that site is) looks like Lenin indeed. I have no idea why I think that jagur is very left-wing so it might be him So, jagur?

I think it is clever. It is sardonic and satirical, but I don’t think it’s that subtle or that funny.

And I wasn’t chiding. I just like the word “kleptocracy”.

Klaas Bil makes my point. All the protesters in NY, didn’t skip a beat when these guys were there. What does that say about the protesters? What does that say about us? Are we that smart?

Sorry, but again, I read through some of the website but perhaps I have missed something. Where does it specifically demonstrate that the protesters were taken in by the Communists for Kerry. I did a google groups search and at least the first two (as of when I executed the search) hits were conservatives who apparently have been. Here.

Of course, it does not matter if your left or right or in the center, most of us at one time or another drop our defenses and succumb to embarrassing gullibility in the desire to see things that confirm our existing beliefs.

Oh, and for the record, the Communist Party U.S.A is, apparently, committed to defeating Bush, but has not endorsed Kerry contrary to the red-baiting tactics of forgers.

yeah, i’m talking about the one showing the tortures used by the chinese government against (mostly) pro-democracy activists

here we have a cruel, oppressive regime, brutally keeping democracy from their own people
they have WMDs

alltho, i do suspect ronald will be introducing u guys to his two friends, the chopstick-twins, before chinese culture sways and topples before the onslaught of the yanki dollah

besides, courtesy of the one-child policy and the chinese preference for male children, the population numbers male vs female is heading for something dramatic
there’s going to be a whole hell of a lot of REALLY frustrated chinese males of army age floating around there quite soon
maybe dismantling your democracy will turn out to be the best thing bush ever did for america
