yet you will find yourself quickly spending the same amount as an ipod on AAA batteries.

My batteries are rechargeable. =p

Plus, 200 songs is plenty for me, cause the only time I use my mp3 player is when im out riding, so it easily covers my riding time.

I like pink, I may buy these.

I am guessing your situation is different to mine here. We cannot buy one single AAA we have to buy four and that costs around $15.00. The charger itself will set you back no less than $45.00 and can go up to about $100.00

The quality of the MP3 players that run on ‘AAA’ batteries is such that they do not generally last to long, that is if they actually work in the first place.

I feel alot safer buying an MP3 player with an installed lithium Ion battery and when that battery does actually, if ever (in the time i intend on using the MP3 player) die. Well i can buy a new one.

Then there is no fumbling around with rechargable batteries, lying awake at night wondering wether you put them on charge or trying to find that charged battery in amoungst the several flat ones. I just plug my Ipod in when i get to work and then when i leave it is charged and ready to take on the day

My MP3 player takes a single AAA battery too.

I have several rechargable AAA batteries, so I can take a bunch with me and instantly swap in a newly charged one when one runs down, as opposed to the player being tethered to a power point for ten hours.

And should my last one run out while I have no access to a charger, I can pop into a shop and buy a disposable AAA battery to keep the player going, as opposed to being without music until finding a power point and then having the player tethered to it for another ten hours.

Oh, and when a rechargable AAA battery eventually gives up the ghost, I can buy another rechargable AAA battery from most shops for less than a fiver and put it in myself, as opposed to specially ordering a rather expensive battery that only works in that player and having to have my player abducted by a technician who can do the surgery, simply because the manufacturer couldn’t be bothered to make it user replaceable.

I see where you are coming from too. under my curcumstances i find a lithium Ion Battery more convenient and you find the ‘AAA’ more convenient. I do not use batteries anywho, i have nothing that neads them and also my current lifestyle and working hours means i have no set structure and would be forever forgetting to recharge. Organisation is not my strong point.

Yet where i live Good quality battery MP3 players are not readily available and the ones that are are quite expensive.

I deal with having to charge the mp3 player by not having an mp3 player. My old one died over two years ago and I never got a new one.
