Is that sposed to happen?

bought my first uni about two months ago, Nimbus 20"
so far its been excellent (except for breaking a pedal which led me to replace both with shiny metal ones:) )
except for the creaking i hear from the right pedal when i mount.
it happened with my old pedals so im not sure if its really the pedal ir the hub.
suggestions?

Could be that you need to grease the pedal interface, or the crank interface. You may need to tighten the cranks on the hub. Try hold the wheel still and push on the crank to test it, thats the easiest way to isolate a problem like this.
