To have the 137 moments over the 125s if you want to be a trials rider? Will it make hopping that much easier/ better? Are there any famous trials that even run 125s on their uni? Thanks for helping out I really need this question answered!

Having 137mm cranks on a trials unicycle isn’t required if you want to do trials. There are some riders that likes the 125mm better than the 137mm. Someone could probably clear up my anwser if it didn’t really helped you.
Well, 125’s are better for rolling hops (you can ride a little faster/smoother) but longer cranks are better suited for trials and are more stable on uneven and small surfaces. You have more torque and more control with longer cranks.
I don’t know of any riders who prefer 125’s for trials. I myself ride 145’s. :-/
I ride 125s and i find them easyer then 135s that are on my mate KH 20. personl i like 125s for trials because there a little bit lighter and I find it easyer to move my uni round a set course with them.
I would use 135 for street because there is that little bit more torq. but I have all ways 125s
Okay well I was looking on renegade juggling to buy a koxx 1 uni. Which crank would be better for trials, the 135 street or the 140 Isis light. Any personal experience is greatly appreciated and will be helpful to the picking of my next unicycle. Thanks!

Anyone ? I really need advice on this question
Its all down to personnal preference. If you like 125’s go with them, if you like 140s, go with them.
I used to ride 125s for trials, then when I started getting better I switched to using 140s. It is easier to recover from big sidehops without rolling out and are much better when you are on uneven or sloped surfaces.
No one can tell you what to get, its all down to what you prefer and get on with.
I have ridden 125’s, 137’s, 140’s, and 135’s. I find that for trials and street (pretty much anything I’ve ridden) I like 137’s-140’s out of all the sizes I ride. They offer a good amount more torque and I just ride smoother with bigger sizes.
What is the best crank length for crankflips to?
This really all comes down to personal preference. Most people say 125’s spin faster, but I’m not sure if they do (maybe more leverage from a biggercrank). The laws of diminishing returns I’m sure apply to this.
Another thing Koxx-Ones Street cranks are 133mm and 135 so maybe thats the “ideal” length?
How?
Before moments were released 137s didnt exist but trials riders managed somehow. This would suggest its not that important unless perhaps you are right at the top of your game.
137s were made because it was in between the lengths of longer trials cranks, and the shorter street cranks. People were out there doing both. A rider with 145s would feel great for trials, but trying to flip around the longer lengths kind of sucked, specially compared to shorter cranks. And vise versa for doing street on the short cranks, then losing a lot of leverage and control when theyd be doing their trials lines.
Is it important? Depends on the person. Its important to me. I like 137s cause I dabble in both trials and street. But If I was mainly doing trials, id definitely be on 140-145s.
And if I was doing alot of street only, id be on the 125-130s.
