Which should i get: a 30 GB ipod video or a 20" KH aluminum frame.
Im planning on getting both eventually but once i get one i will have to wait awhile for the other. They both cost about the same. I have a bedford frame that im using right now but want to get a lighter frame. I do not have any mp3 players so i want an ipod.
Which one should i get?
Any thoughts or coments and their reasons would help.

Definitly an ipod, unless there is something wrong with your current frame.
I vote for the ipod…because for now, you can use your current frame.
yeah go for the ipod and then get the better frame later.
I would get a mp3 with video player that is not an iPod, then the money you save can be put toward your new frame. slight compromise, faster results.
Id go for teh ipod
go for a different media player. the iPod isnt the best for the cost. Get a good player by a different company. Creative is an example of a company that makes a cheaper but better media player.
These will be cheaper, and that money goes into your KH frame. Don’t buy into the iPod fad.
but i can get a refurbished one for $180 which is pretty cheap. And appls rock anyway. Just go to pg 6955 of the MR to see the proof.
Go for a Creative player! iPods are overrated anyway. I used to want an iPod really bad until this once when I forgot to take my Creative MuVo out of my jeans pocket. My mom put everything in the washing machine, soaked them, spun dried them, left them overnight and the next day, my MuVo still worked perfect.
AND to top things up, just the day before, I actually took all the screws and stuff apart to spray paint the cover and haven’t even got to screwing them back so the MuVo was just fixed together but not screwed tight.
I’ve also dropped the same player countless times (to the extent that the case got chipped and stuff) and it’s subjected to all sorts of rough and tumble everyday. AND IT"S STILL GOOD! Creative players may be fugly but they’re great for sports. Much much better than iPods anyday. And they’re cheaper too.

the creative is nice, but it has a hard drive, not a flash drive so a very small drop will break the creative.
i went through 3 before i was fed up and got something else.

If you can hold out for the new frame I would go for the Ipod, especially if you can get one for the refurbished price. The ipod has been out forever and there is so much stuff for it. You can do a lot more with it than anything creative has to offer. And in no way does the Muvo stack up to the ipod. The vision and other models do compete with a good price. But I personally like the function of the Ipod and Itunes and the video programs I use to put movies and video on it. At any rate get an MP3 player instead. BTW the new ipods coming out blow everything else out of the water.
get the frame first. the new generation ipods will be coming out shortly. i made the same mistake last year, and the video ipod came out 5 days after i got my ipod photo. it sucked hardcore.
Actually the new ones came out a few weeks ago, so you’ll have to wait quite a while now.

I vote go for the iPod. But that’s assuming that you have ears. If you don’t, get a new KH frame.

definately get the ipod. you can always use your current frame untill you save enough money for the kh one.
ipods rock. i think they are better than iRiver and creative players purely because the interface is better. pluss my mate had his ipod in his board shorts pocket and jumped in a pool and got out, dried the ipod and it still worked fine. i love my ipod dearly and use it every day. it is the best purchase you will ever make.
kh frames are awesome too but their awesomeness is overshadowed by that of the almighty ipod.

Get the IPod Shuffle, that thing kicks arse for riding. PLUS, they are cheaper, so you will be close (if not able) to get the frame.

they break so easily its not even funny, ive gone through like three, and it pisses me off, so i bought a creative zen vision (m) like a year ago, and ive had no problems so far----its a little bulkier, but i love it
Yeah, I don’t have one, but my sister’s friends did. Everyone in her class. About a month after they all got it, they broke. Some of them kept it, and one “revived” after a month. So, get the other system. My dad has a black 4" MP3 player and it’s held up longer than those ipods…
