I just wanted to let you guys know that if you where thinking about instaling linux on your i pod now is a good time. i just instaled a new version of ipodlinux on my ipod and it works very nicely. I have it running on a 30gig video macpod. I have tryed olderversions before but they always had bugs this one worked very good. I also have doom runing on it prety nicely (some little bugs that i havent fixed yat). i can also post come pics if you guys want. So if you where thinking about doing this i say do it. but backup the apple firmwhere first. just thought i would share my sucess good luck

well linux use to fit on the old calculator watches and it was used to tell the time, linux rocks, but for gaming it sux.

It’s the future, i just wish ppl would start supporting it rather than microsoft for OS’s, that’s why gaming sux for linux :frowning:

true theres no suport but if you know what your doing it will run doom and several other games just fine
