It looks to me more like he camoflauges than actually goes invisible.
Are you doing research on octopuses, or are you just bored and looking up octopus videos on youtube?
It’s still cool beans. 
I’ve seen this sveveral times and have long arguments with a friend about it but after seeing the super slow-mo reverse I do believe that it’s a clever squid, rather than a clever photoshopper.
More interesting octopus doings. They can walk.
