Intercultural exchange meeting within youth circus schools in Europe

Hello, I am an italian juggler/street performer. In the last months I have
organized, here in Bergamo (Italy), a workshop of circus arts with a group of
youths whose average age is 17 years old. I am writing this messagge because we
are looking for an european youth circus school, or a group of youth that
practice circus arts, that could be interested in organizing an intercultural
exchange with us. We worked on juggling (balls, rings and clubs), acrobatic
basic figure, balancing (rolla-bola, unycicle and walking sphere), basic
clowning techniques and mime (living statue). Their level is beginner but they
are very willing to improve their skills. We would like to meet a foreign group
for working together, set up a performance and, if possible, show it in a street
arts festival. The period should be in the first half of july. We need to find a
partner in this project as soon as possible in order to obtain funds from the
european community. If you are intereted in it, or you know someone that could,
please contact me immediately. My address is:

Lorenzo,

I have no contacts with youth circus schools but you can find some tens of
webpages via http://circus.pagina.nl. Click the links under
“Jeugd/Kindercircussen in <country name>”. You can find youth circus schools in
The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Germany, England,
Danmark. (And then some outside Europe.)

Success! Klaas Bil
