Installing Summit/KH Cranks

I have just had my Summit cranks denubbed. I have never taken them off and on before. Do you tighten the crank bolts and then the pinch bolts?

Yes, the crank bolts help position the cranks properly, the pinch bolts hold them in place

Should have done a search first. Here is John Childs advice for anyone who needs it.

I can add that the pinch bolts should be QUITE tight. If any crank
moves with respect to the wheel AND with respect to the other crank,
than most likely the pinch bolt needs further tightening. Been there,
done that, and was quite puzzled for a while because they were already
“tight”.
