Congratulations! Note that the story is about you, while Kris and I were brought in basically for background info. To prove you’re not the only one doing it, perhaps? It’s interesting how journalists can have very different perceptions of our sport, even after talking to us at length!
Yet another journalist “invents” a term we never use, municycling (he wasn’t the first). For the record, I did not use that word during the (phone) interview. Also I would have explained that we don’t use it if he mentioned it to me. Municycling. Should we use it? I think not. It’s unicycling. Or Mountain Unicycling. Or Rough Terrain Unicycling. Even Muni is kind of insider terminology; something best used amongst unicyclists who already know what we’re talking about.
Anyway, I didn’t know who you were when he mentioned your name. If he’d said Knoxuni I would have recognized you instantly!
