I don’t know the weight of my Roger Davies Mk 5 Carbon MUni offhand. It is very light. In fact when I had to mail the frame back to him for modification, I just put it in a padded envelope and I’m pretty sure it was under a pound (including aluminum crown and bearing holders).
It also has a relatively skinny rim, thin-walled tire, aluminum cranks, etc. The ThudBuster Uni-Pivot seat post is added weight, but it’s also aluminum. And the Miyata seat is all plastic.
It is seriously light compared to my other MUnis, a “piece-o-Schwinn,” a DM ATU and even my aluminum Wilder. Though the Wilder has a nice light frame, it has an ultra-heavy Gazz tire and mega-beefy Sun DoubleWide rim.
My carbon is limited by its relatively narrow (old-school) fork, so it only can fit something like a 2.1" tire. This has relegated it to relatively light riding only, or as a second uni that people have borrowed in an emergency at several conventions.
