With this flu epidemic going around? Have you heard anything in the news
lately about the flu over here? Everybody is apparently dropping like
flies according to the media lol - we have widespread flu shot
shortages but the shot isn’t apparently even effective against the
current strain.

I heard about the flu from a friend in NY. Their company was making flu
shots available to all employees. Our doctor tells us that the flu shot
is not a guarantee that you will not get the flu. From what little I
know, the flu shot has to be changed every year because the flu virus is
different every year.
Take care of yourself - you still have half the term to go.

One of the last steps back after my disaster
as typical Austrian inventor.

Like most people who live in a 3rd world country, I consider living in
the US as an “ultimate” goal. I have not taken any concrete steps toward
applying for a green card, but it might be something I’d do in the near
future. Canada is actually an “easier” option so I’d probably go that
route. Once a Canadian immigrant, visiting the US would become easy.

That actually crossed my mind, too. But the language factor is what
deters me and my wife from seriously considering that a permanent move.
Perhaps if budget permits, we would visit Europe as tourists. I’ve
always wanted to see Germany and Austria (don’t know why).

Maybe in Austria, you consider yourself unseccessful. Have you
considered offering your invention(s) to the US market? You could get a
different reception from US consumers.

There was an interview with me in a big English newspaper spring this year.
But I depend in this from Santner Robert and his team,
which finally realized my invention.
They are exhausted from finishing the prototype.
No energy for big new plans.
I found out the hard way, that’s more easy to earn enough money
by myself instead of searching investors.

Why US ?
For many Europeans, living in the US is a nightmare.
