I'm out

Hi guys,

I haven’t posted here in a very long time, due to lots of work towards GCSE, and a lack of riding recently because of not-so-great weather.
I’m here to say that my riding days are going to be over for a couple of years. Because of my increasing severity of Pectus Excavatum, I am opting for surgery this summer that will correct my chest. Because of this, it means that any form of sports that can involve contact or falling (pretty much all the sports I do) are out of the question.

Sam.

Well maybe you could consider this, like i have. I use those machines when i am not riding my unicycle.

I have another friend with a pretty badly sunken chest. it is sort of funny because in contrast his girlfriend has a huge rack.

Anyway hope the surgery goes well and stay active afterwards.

Sam,

I don’t think its necessary to be a rider to participate here. Your frequency of riding shouldn’t matter. If you ride once per week, once per year, or once every three years, you are still a rider. I’m a good example that a crappy rider can participate here. I would think that you’ll still be able to type and so you should be present here.

Stay with us. Do your therapy afterwards.

Good point Doug

I don’t think that Billy even rides and he is one of the most active members on the forums.
